Hello, my name is Caite Canfield!
One thing about me that may surprise you is that I am a true third culture kid! I was born in the US and have had the amazing opportunity to travel the world. I decided to repatriate when I applied for colleges to experience my home culture. I have spent the majority of my life in Europe and also lived in the Middle East for five years. I collect snowglobes from every new place I visit. I now have 103 snowglobes!
While looking for schools in the US I was interested in finding a small school with a very tight-knit community that had a very good art program. I did not look at well-known "art-schools" because I plan to build a very well-rounded foundation and study a variety of different subjects and then focus my interests in a graduates program. I was also looking for a school that offered athletics because I like to surround myself with a wide variety of people and interests. I attended Skidmore College and received a Bachelor's Degree of Art in Mathematics and a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Studio Art.

I am a starting player, and captain, on the Skidmore Varsity NCAA Volleyball team and received national recognition as an All-American Athlete this past season after previously playing for the National Women's Dames 1 Flemish Club team in Belgium.
Currently, I am pursuing my Masters in Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology upon receiving the T.Gordon Little Fellowship. I am now a member of Equity in Architecture (EQIA), Sustainable Studio, and I am a Graduate Ambassador.
