Fripp Island Fourth of July Golf Cart Parades
My family and I have a tradition that every Fourth of July, on Fripp Island in South Carolina, we build a float for the golf-cart parade. We have been a part of the parade for 6 years now. Every year, the judges give out a theme for the parade and the participants create their own floats and decorate their golf-carts and on the morning of the fourth, everyone on the island comes out to celebrate. It is a huge event and we have come in first place three times, and second place two times.
